Leasa was a teacher at St. Clair College in the Chemical Dependency Certification Program for fifteen years in the areas of Families and Addiction and Group Counselling Skills.  Leasa is also an instructor presenting workshops and seminars in addictions, both privately,  and also in the past for the Corporate & Professional Training Branch at St. Clair College.

Leasa is a practicing Therapeutic Touch Professional who has been utilizing this type of energy direction and  holistic healing modality with clients for over twenty years.  Leasa often combines this work with her counselling, and has found it to be effective with clients suffering with anxiety, depression, stress and other mental, emotional, physical and spiritual health issues.
